Texas Southern Lady Tigers soccer team had its best season in the program’s history in 2010.  That was head coach Tamura Crawley-Marigny’s first season at Texas Southern. Today was the start of her second season.  Her expectations are high and her team hit the ground running…literally.

Crawley-Marigny set the tone the Lady Tigers by having them run sprints to start things off.  She says they will be more physical and play much faster this season.  “I was pleased with the way my returners took the lead in our drills and workouts today, said Crawley-Marigny.  “I could see that the speed was a little overwhelming for the new players, but they will catch on in time.”
The Lady Tigers play their first game on August 26 against North Texas at TSU’s Durley Field.
